Cross Keys (Fri 23rd Feb)
26/02/07 11:28
Friday nights are notoriously quiet at The Cross Keys so we were grateful to the 60 - 70 strong audience that came to see us. The night started slow but soon picked up and the last 45 minutes saw the dance floor full. We were well pleased at the way we played and what we sounded like but we came off stage slightly dissapointed at taking along time to whip up any audience enthusiasm, or maybe it was because it was such a contrast to the previous weeks manic gig at The Roscoe.Highlight of the night was the great reaction from all the emos to Im Not Ok by My Chemical Romance.
A last minute decision to play The Stereophonics Bartender and the Thief went down well considering we hadnt rehearsed or played the song for ages.
A special mention for Judith for volunteering to sell our raffle tickets, you have been doing a great job over last few weeks.
Next gig (The Roundhay Fri 2nd Feb) is a bit of an unknown quantity so we could really do to get as many people there as we can, to get the pub buzzing.
HOPE YOU CAN MAKE IT THERE

ELECTRIFYING, thats the only word that can describe the New Roscoe gig(Sat 17 Feb)
Surely equalling, matching a Prowlers night at the same venue. Styckleback pulled 'em in est. over 250 fans. Three hours of pulsating music profesional sound, light system and cameras clicking. Dance floor space was limited the whole night, we were all Rocking.
A talented 4-piece Band that craves your support at EVERY gig. Next up The Cross Keys at Morley (Fri 23 Feb)
See ya there

PACKED NIGHT AT THE ROSCOE
19/02/07 13:11
Thanks to everyone who turned up at The New Roscoe on Saturday night to see us recording a live CD, its rare to see this venue so full.
The sound was superb thanks to a PA system that was as big as a bus and Duncan, a brilliant sound engineer who does his job in a cool methodical way .Its always good playing to a full house and the atmosphere was electric ,it was great to see so many new faces enjoying the gig. Thanks for all your positive comments, we now feel comfortable as a 4 piece and are looking forward to playing The Cross Keys on Friday 23rd of Feb where we hope to play to another packed venue. HOPE YOU CAN MAKE IT THERE

GREAT NIGHT AT THE STATION
09/02/07 12:56
What a warm reception we had on a freezing cold night at The Station, Cleckheaton. This was the first time we had played here so it was great to play to a new audience as well as our "regulars" who had travelled to see us belt out a 35 song set. Its a pity there wasn't enough room for the full light show but we will do our best to re arrange it for the next time.
NEW INN GIG CHURWELL
03/02/07 12:03
The Styckleback party rolled on to The New Inn at Churwell Last night Fri 2nd Jan and it was another night to remember.
Another fantastic crowd turned up, most of them were dancing on the seats by the end of the night.
WE'RE GOING TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN TONIGHT AT THE BARGE AT BRIGHOUSE
